Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TrueTick ("we", "us"), a Minecraft server hosting service available at truetick.gg. By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. Your account

You need an account with a working email address. Keep your password to yourself — everything done from your account is on you. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher.

2. The service

TrueTick runs Minecraft servers on a prepaid wallet. Two plans exist: metered (you pay per gigabyte-hour while your server is actually running; sleeping servers cost nothing) and flat (a fixed daily charge while the server exists and runs that day). Servers scale to zero when empty and wake when a player joins.

We don't oversell hardware. That honesty cuts both ways: when a node is at capacity, creating or starting a server may be refused rather than silently degrading everyone else's performance. Live TPS/MSPT metrics are shown as measured — when we have no data, we show nothing rather than an invented number.

We aim for high availability but do not promise a specific uptime percentage. Current and historical service state is published on our status page.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record — Paddle is the seller for the transaction, handles payment data and issues invoices. Prices are in USD. Wallet credit is a prepayment for hosting, not a deposit: it earns no interest and isn't transferable between accounts. Refunds are covered by the refund policy. When your balance reaches zero, running servers are stopped; your data stays on disk per section 5.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use TrueTick to:

• host or distribute illegal content, malware, or content you have no rights to;
• attack other systems (DDoS, scanning, credential stuffing) or abuse other players;
• mine cryptocurrency or run workloads unrelated to Minecraft;
• evade resource limits, disk quotas, or per-account caps.

We may suspend or stop servers that break these rules. We'd rather talk first — honest mistakes get a message, not an instant ban.

5. Your content and backups

Your worlds, configs and uploads are yours. We store and process them only to run your servers. Daily snapshot backups are made on a best-effort basis with limited retention — for anything you can't afford to lose, download your own copies. Deleting a server deletes its data and backups from our systems.

6. Termination

You can delete your servers and stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate section 4 or attempt to defraud the service. On termination we'll refund unused wallet credit unless the account was used for fraud or illegal activity.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for lost worlds you didn't back up, third-party mods or plugins, or downtime of upstream providers.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on this page (and by email once transactional email is enabled) at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

9. Contact and governing law

TrueTick is operated by a sole proprietor (ФОП) registered in Ukraine. Questions: support@truetick.gg or our community Discord. These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
